Shaping AI in Education: A Pennsylvania Learning & Listening Tour
2026 Shaping AI in Education:
A Pennsylvania Learning & Listening Tour
Join Penn State AI researchers and K-12 experts for a dynamic learning and listening session on the future of AI in education, exclusively for K12 educators and administrators.
The tour will consist of a selection of in-person or virtual day-long events. The sessions will provide you with deeper insights into the A to Z of AI, from AI usage to AI policy, and more. Your voice will contribute to shaping the future of learning across the Commonwealth through knowledge sharing (offering foundational information on generative AI as it applies to K12 settings); workforce development (emphasizing AI’s role in workforce preparation); policy implications (discussing K-12 policy considerations for AI integration); professional development (examining AI’s impact on educator training); ethics and sustainability (addressing ethical and sustainability issues of AI in education).
This is more than professional development! It’s an opportunity to influence the future of learning in Pennsylvania. As part of our commitment to advancing AI education across Pennsylvania, we will be collecting survey, observation, and interview data from all participants during the AI Roadshow. This information will be used to inform our reporting to the Pennsylvania Department of Education and to strengthen future programming for K-12 educators statewide.
