Biotechnology And Nanobiotechnology Revolution: Better Skills-Better Jobs! Certified Advanced Biotherapies Professional (CABP) Sponsored Educator’s Workshop
Workshop Goals:
1. To introduce high school teachers to Biotechnology and Nanobiotechnology: Concepts
2. Demonstrate alignment between Biotechnology-Nanobiotechnology with Basic
Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
3. Expose the teachers to innovative lab skills, and connect them with career options due to the ‘applied’ nature of these programs
4. Learn some cool hands-on skills that are easy to integrate in the high school curriculum
Audience: Biology, AP Biology, Chemistry, AP Chemistry, Genetics, General Science Teachers, School Counselors, Administrators, and Career Guidance staff
When: August 8, 2024, 9 am- 3 pm
