Applications for the 2026-2027 cohort of Educators’ Neighborhood are now open!
Educators' Neighborhood is a community of educators who learn together inspired from the life and work of Fred Rogers. The goal of this group is to learn from the work of Fred Rogers and other educators to inform everyday practice. This year-long opportunity brings together a cohort of individuals from across the world who learn together through virtual meetings and consider how to deepen their application of Fred Rogers’ work and theory to their work with children. - Educators or directors working with young children in an early childhood education program, family childcare, preschool, or early intervention
- Teachers, administrators, or other educators working at a K-12 school
- Staff or directors working with children and youth outside of school (e.g., library, museum, afterschool, summer program, religious organizations, etc.)
- Educators or leaders of organizations serving adults who are working with children or youth (e.g., higher education, professional development, quality improvement, families)
- Educators working with children or youth in a home-based setting
Educators’ Neighborhood is now an approved provider through the Pennsylvania Quality Assurance System (PQAS). With this new approval, Educators’ Neighborhood participants in Pennsylvania can now earn PQAS hours toward their continuing education requirements, in addition to Act 48 credits.
