Time: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
Format: Virtual via Zoom
Cost: Free for K–12 school staff REGISTER HERE!

This three-day course focuses on preventive maintenance and data-driven decision-making. Participants will learn practical, affordable strategies to reduce energy and water use, lower utility costs, and improve indoor air quality through attention to cleaning products, chemical use, pest management, ventilation, air filtration, and related building systems. The training includes content relevant to many building types, along with material tailored specifically to preK–12 school facilities.

  • By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
  • Evaluate building energy and water performance
  • Identify actionable steps to improve efficiency and address causes of poor indoor air quality
  • Articulate the costs and benefits of efficiency measures

Earn the industry-recognized GPRO O+M certificate upon successful completion of the course and open-book exam.

This training also provides an opportunity to connect with peers and share lessons learned. Many past participants have continued those relationships beyond the course.
